"Navigare necesse est vivere non est necesse."

A quote attributed to Roman General Gnaeus Pompeius, 106-47 B.C.  It has been translated several ways; our favorite is... "Sailing is a necessity, merely living is not."

The first photo is our '87 CS30 (Hull #4669) we owned from 1987-2000, Wind Song, off Ontario Place, Toronto. The CS30 is a great cruiser/racer and we thoroughly enjoyed sailing her in Lake Ontario, the Thousand Islands, and Nova Scotia.

If you are a CS30 owner or interested in CS30s, click on this picture for lots of detailed information.

Here's our all time favorite boat we owned from 2001-2003, an '87 DeFever 41 Trawler - Saphaedra (Goddess of Tides and Currents). Click on the picture for more information about the DeFever 41 and our coastal cruises in Atlantic Canada.
